2019年春节期间，北京市道可特律所刘光超主任与国际业务部主任、高级合伙人张婷律师赴英国伦敦进行交流参访。刘光超主任与张婷律师先后拜访了英国大律师公会、英国青年律师公会、伦敦国际仲裁院、伦敦海事仲裁员协会、剑桥圣约翰学院以及英国多家国际知名律师事务所。此外，刘光超主任与张婷律师还受邀参加了“中国年”交流晚宴及系列主题交流酒会，并代表道可特律师事务所与多家国际律师事务所建立了合作伙伴关系。我们将推出“道可特英伦行”系列专题，记录参访旅程，开启2019年道可特国际化之路。

During the Spring Festival of 2019, Mr. Liu Guangchao, the Chief Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and Lawyer Zhang Ting, the Director of the International Business Department and the Senior Partner of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm traveled to London for exchange and visit. The Chief Director, Mr. Liu Guangchao and Lawyer Zhang Ting visited the Bar Council, the British young lawyers association, the London Court of International Arbitration, London Maritime Arbitrators Association, the St. John's College, Cambridge and many international well-known law firms in the UK. In addition, Mr. Liu Guangchao and Lawyer Zhang Ting were invited to attend the "Chinese Year” themed dinner and a series of wine parties, and they also established cooperative partnerships with many international law firms on behalf of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm. We will publish a series of articles of “DOCVIT’s Visits in the UK" to record DOCVIT’s each steps and start to pile up DOCVIT’s internationalization road for the year of 2019.

2019年2月8日，北京市道可特律师事务所主任刘光超律师和国际业务部主任、高级合伙人张婷律师受邀到访Monckton Chambers律师事务所，与皇家大律师Michael Bowsher QC先生会面。Michael Bowsher QC先生同时任英国中殿律师公会国际事务部的主管以及伦敦国王学院欧盟政府采购法的系主任，并积极参与与亚投行及各政府层面的合作。2018年张婷律师赴伦敦访问交流时曾在Monckton Chambers律师事务所工作。双方在律所管理和业务层面进行了深入交流，并初步达成了合作伙伴关系。据介绍，Monckton Chambers也是著名作家狄更斯曾经工作的地方。

On February 8, 2019, Mr. Liu Guangchao, the Chief Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and Lawyer Zhang Ting, also the Director of International Business Department and the Senior Partner of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, were invited to visit Monckton Chambers and meet with Sir Michael Bowsher QC who is the Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple managing for international business and the Faculty Director of the EU Public Procurement Law, King’s College London, and he is actively involved in cooperation with Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and purchasers at all levels of government. Lawyer Zhang Ting once worked at Monckton Chamber during her visit to London in 2018. The two sides have conducted in-depth communication regarding management and business of law firm and preliminarily reached a cooperative partnership. According to the introduction, Monckton Chambers was also the place where the famous writer Charles Dickens used to work.

In order to focus on training and managing the barristers, the UK established four Inns of Court in London in the 14th century, which include he Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. All the barristers study as apprentices of the law and perform legal works in and are supervised and managed by different Inns of Court.
